	Thinking about thinkAbout. People, Places and Provocations. Once a year, thinkAbout brings it all together for two stimulating days.

Eleven thinkAbouts! Who would have thought ten years ago that what started out as a small experimental gathering in a ballroom in Cleveland, Ohio would become the vanguard event for experience-minded executives and managers?

thinkAbout has evolved as our flagship offering – a once-a-year opportunity to gather as a truly unique group of
individuals to explore – oftentimes in the very literal sense – what’s on the horizon in the Experience Economy.

Perhaps no place is better suited to exploring that horizon than Las Vegas. Few can deny its well-earned status as “the experience capital of the world.” Vegas itself is a study in polarities, simultaneously encapsulating both the very best and the very worst to be found within the Experience Economy.

It is a fertile and dynamic classroom for learning and exploring. So fertile in fact, that this is the first time thinkAbout has ever returned to a host city. Back in 2001 we staged thinkAbout at the New York - New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Now, seven years, one book, and a plethora of new ideas later, we return. This time to the Luxor, which is currently enjoying a multi-million dollar freshening of its iconic theme.

The timing for a return to Vegas couldn’t be better, as more people than ever – including those reading the feature in TIME magazine (from which our TIME-honoring invitation draws its inspiration!) – are recognizing the increasing impact that experiences and authenticity have on their businesses. It is particularly exciting to know that many of those very same people will be among the 100 individuals who get to participate at this year’s thinkAbout.

Of course we’ll provide our share of provocations to guide and expand that learning during thinkAbout. This year, we are thrilled to bring you Giovanni Livera as our guest talent. Let’s just say Gio is something of a walking provocation all by himself! His performance to kick-off thinkAbout on Day 1 is not merely entertaining and inspirational, it will also prompt you to closely examine exactly how you’re living your life. In addition, no thinkAbout would be complete without our always insight-filled Learning Excursion – this year on and around the Vegas Strip. These experiences, and others along the way, will serve us well as we shift gears for the discussions and creative output generated during Day 2.

Each year, it is this potent mixture of people, places and provocations that gives thinkAbout its rich and sustaining energy, copious creative output, and free-flowing exchanges. I hope you will join us in Las Vegas this September and be part of this unique experience.
